If you were sent on unpaid leave or dismissed from work after 1.3.20, and worked at least 6 months in the last 18 months, you will be eligible for unemployment benefit. In this case you will be eligible for half of unemployment days granted to those who have accumulated 12 months of work.

If you have not accumulated 6 months of work – there are additional months other than months of work that can be included in the qualifying period – for more information, click here.
Please note that periods of regular military service and national service are not included in the 6-month qualifying period.
